Room Seven at Spruced Goose

Brechtje Olsthoorn, the founder of Room Seven, opened her first shop in Alkmaar Holland selling a mixture of textiles and antiques that she would find on her trips to India. While she enjoyed this and still has the shop, she could not resist her love for textiles and began making quilts out of available fabrics. They were sold in the shop and when sales took off she was soon designing a whole bedding collection with her own exclusive prints sold throughout Europe.

When she had her first daughter five years ago she was very tempted to use the beautiful prints that are designed for each bedding collection for children's clothing. That is how Room Seven was born. Room Seven is now sold in 30 countries around the world.
